Iguanodon is a massive dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 126 to 122 million years ago. The first fossils of this dinosaur were found in 1820 in Sussex, England. From the research carried out on the fossils, it can be learned that an adult Iguanodon weighed as much as 3.08 tons and measured about 10 meters in length. At this size, Iguanodon could measure up to 2.7 meters tall. Iguanodon’s food is still not exactly known today. The only thing that is certain is that the dinosaur was herbivorous.
