This dinosaur was herbivorous and lived in the Early Cretaceous Period about 110 to 120 million years ago. It was estimated to be 7 meters long and weighed 4 tons. Ouranosaurus was a relatively large iguanodont. It is speculated that in this dinosaur the sail was used for thermoregulation. He had no teeth in the beak but had many cheek teeth which he used to grind hard plants.
