Today we will tell you about dinosaur called Stegosaurus. It was an herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic Period. This dinosaur was a relatively large dinosaur, with various lengths among its species. This dinosaur usually reached a length of around 6.5 meters. There were also specimens of this dinosaur which length could be up to 9 meters. At its maximum length, this dinosaur could weigh from 5.3 to even 7 metric tons. Stegosaurus was clad with spine-like plates located in front of the spines and on the tail.
